They buildings will provide for 24-hour security, including closed-circuit television and accommodation of advanced telecommunications equipment. Parking for 2,000 cars will be in multilevel structures.

Continental Grand Plaza will have multipurpose recreational/exercise facilities, including volleyball and basketball courts and an exercise room. There will also be landscaped picnic areas, and negotiations have begun with a major operator for a 3,500-square-foot, on-site restaurant.

Contractor is Keller Construction Co. Inc. of El Monte. The Goodglick Co., which arranged site acquisition for about $10 million, is exclusive leasing agent.
