Citing non-recurring write-downs and operating losses in its mobile radio operations, San Marcos-based Decom Systems reported a net loss of $3.6 million for the third quarter ended June 28 on sales of $3.4 million. In last year’s third quarter, Decom reported net income of $120,000 on sales of $2.2 million. For the nine months, Decom reported a loss of $3.9 million, compared to earnings the year before of $369,000, on sales of $3.9 million, down 53%.
