Twenty-one factory workers and a mystery man from Brooklyn claimed shares of New York state’s $41-million lottery jackpot, and officials said today they were waiting for a call from a third and final winner of North America’s biggest prize.

A computer check indicated that the three tickets with the winning combination of 14-17-22-23-30-47 were sold in Albany, Mount Vernon and Brooklyn, according to John Quinn, lottery director.

He confirmed the Brooklyn winner, saying the unidentified man will be introduced at a news conference Friday.

An exuberant group of 21 workers at an offset press factory in Mount Vernon told reporters that they had one of the winning tickets. They said they had agreed to pool $21 to play the lottery and split any winnings.

One employee, Kevin Fleming, said he didn’t realize that one of the group’s 42 plays had been a winning one until he arrived at work. “I couldn’t eat,” he said. “I couldn’t do anything.”
