Postmen Stamp Out Cobra

NEW DELHI —
Startled postmen permanently canceled a cobra that unexpectedly slithered out of a mail bag in a southern Indian post office, the Press Trust of India reported Wednesday. The news agency said that postal employees in Pandalam, in Kerala state, beat the reptile to death with sticks.
