A multistate agreement to coordinate efforts to find missing children was announced by governors and law enforcement officials from six Midwest states. “This agreement . . . will create a coordinated line of communication that will help us find children who should be at home,” Illinois Gov. James R. Thompson said. Joining Thompson were the governors of Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Iowa.
