The State : 2 Must Avoid Each Other

Share

A judge warned a rock musician and an alleged groupie to avoid each other or face the music. “This court will not be used as a vehicle for a personal vendetta,” the Oakland judge told musician Andrew Morse and Susan Liebowitz, whom Morse asserts has harassed him from coast to coast. Morse, 27, who plays with the Nice Boys band from New York, filed a complaint asserting that Liebowitz, a University of California journalism student, is a sexually aggressive “groupie” who chased him across the nation. The musician charged that Liebowitz, “a groupie pursuing us for sex,” had followed him from New York and moved to nearby Berkeley when he did. Liebowitz, 24, filed a deposition saying that Morse had lied in his complaint and that she moved from New York City to Berkeley only to enroll in school.
