San Diego House Prices Firm, but Slip for Condos
Selling prices for single-family homes in San Diego during July remained firm with a median of $132,465, which was about the same as the previous month, but the median price for condominiums slid from $106,363 to $94,600.
These were some of the findings in Insites, the monthly new residential housing survey sponsored by Founders Title Co. and conducted by the Goodkin Group.
“June sales were very strong for single-family product,” Mervyn L. Morris, senior vice president and county manager of Founders Title, said, “and July maintained the pace.” He also said that condominium volume sales were stronger during July than they have been in some time.
