Condo Garage Sale Helps AIDS Fight

Share

A garage sale held by The Courtyards of West Hollywood, a 194-unit residential complex formerly called Kings Country, raised $4,500 for Aid for AIDS, a group that gives funds directly to AIDS victims, and another $500 for APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles) in support of its Commitment to Life dinner Thursday.

The complex at 950 N. Kings Road is being completely renovated for conversion to condominiums under the direction of Noni Corp. and Stanley Thea Associates Inc. Garage sale items were from the first 49 empty apartments and recreation areas being rebuilt and were viewed for purchase by more than 1,000 people.
