The first and primary tenant, California Federal Savings & Loan Assn., has establisheed a 7,000-square-foot branch on the ground floor of the new, $4-million Noble Professional Center, 15060 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks.

The corporate headquarters of the owner/developer, San Val Development Corp., is occupying 3,000 square feet, also on the ground floor. The remainder of the building’s 53,000 square feet is being leased by the San Fernando Valley office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.

Herbert Nadel AIA & Partners, Santa Monica, said they designed the four-story building in an eclectic fashion combining traditional features with contemporary styling, including arched windows that extend through to the second floor, creating the illusion of a two-story bank on the ground floor.

The exterior is of flashed brick veneer and solar bronze glass with a series of contrasting horizontal bands linking the tops of the windows on each floor. The main elevator lobby features a granite floor with insets of carpeting, oak-paneled walls with inset mirrors and a barrel-vaulted ceiling.

Offices are offered in modules from 1,200 square feet to full floors of about 13,000 square feet. Typical bay depths range from 32 to 36 feet with a central core, while the building’s design creates the potential of eight corner offices on each floor.
