Actress Linda Fiorentino achieved “celebrity” when she disappeared during a Warner Bros. publicity tour for “VisionQuest” last February. Then she was “unavailable” for interviews on Universal’s “Gotcha” when it was released last spring. She’s finally surfaced.

She’ll be plugging “VisionQuest” this week with the foreign press, now that the movie’s being released abroad. She’ll do phone interviews from Los Angeles.

She won’t be plugging Martin Scorsese’s current “After Hours.” Said a Warner Bros. spokesman: “We’ve gone round and round (trying to schedule her), but basically she’s unavailable. We’re back on the same wavelength with her that we were with ‘VisionQuest’ originally.”
