Construction is under way at Pacific Centre, a $10-million, two-building, 62,000-square-foot office complex on 2.35 acres at 512-14 Via de la Valle, Solana Beach, between Interstate 5 and Pacific Coast Highway east of Del Mar. Completion and first move-ins are expected by March, 1986.

Of the total, 52,000 square feet will be leased as professional office suites and 10,000 square feet are planned as space for a financial institution and a gourmet restaurant. The developer said 70% of the office suites will have private balconies with views of the Pacific and of the Del Mar race track.

The developer is a joint venture of Southmark Pacific Corp., based in Pasadena; Ramsey Development Co., San Diego, and Winfried R. von Markatz. The designer is SGPA Planning & Architecture and the builder is Harper Development Co., both San Diego firms.
