Zion Park Use Up

Augus visitors to Zion National Park Numbered 284,741, or 11% more than in the same month a year ago. So far this year, total visits number 1,284,929, a 9% increase over 1984, park officials report.

Of the total, 23,597 stayed in the park’s campgrounds. The rest were day visitors.
