From Reuters
BOGOTA, Colombia —
Gunmen Tuesday kidnaped the daughter of fugitive banker Jaime Michelsen from a university lecture room, police and witnesses said.
The kidnapers shot and wounded two people who tried to intervene as they abducted Camila Michelsen, 20, daughter of the former president of the Banco de Colombia. No one has claimed responsibility.
Michelsen fled to Miami in December, 1983, after his arrest was ordered in connection with a stock manipulation charge.
