Soviet-Japan Talks Due

NEW YORK —
Soviet Foreign Minister Eduard A. Shevardnadze plans to visit Japan late this year or early in 1986, renewing a series of high-level Japanese-Soviet contacts suspended since 1978 because of a territorial dispute, the Soviet news agency Tass reported Wednesday.
