Patty Cross, whose husband, David, trained Sunny’s Halo, the 1983 winner of the Kentucky Derby, died Wednesday of cancer. She was 47.
Burial will be today at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster, after a service at 1 p.m. at Murphy’s Mortuary.
