21 Acres Purchased for Construction of Housing

Sunland Housing Group has purchased 21 acres three miles west of Camino Ruis at the northwest end of Mira Mesa from John Kurtin for $1.8 million and plans to begin construction early in 1987 on a 137-unit development of patio homes and duplexes to be called Mesa Rim. There are no roads to the property but one, to be called Calle Cristobal, is scheduled for construction next year.
