Carlsbad Remains Strong in San Diego Area Sales

Carlsbad continues to be a strong new home sales area in San Diego County, with tracts averaging 1.06 sales a week for attached units and 1.31 for detached units, according to a survey conducted for First American Title Insurance Co., San Diego.
New home prices ranged from $81,500 to $600,000 for attached units and $96,900 to $203,990 for single-family homes in the more than 350 residential subdivisions surveyed in the county. The average price per square foot was $113.51 for attached units, and $84.47 for single-family detached units.
Sponsored by First American, the survey was developed and prepared by the Meyers Group, a new firm, according to Ken Ecker, vice president and manager of First American’s San Diego office.
