ILC Technology Inc., Sunnyvale, promoted Deepak Chopra, a vice president and director, to president and chief operating officer, succeeding Glenn P. Sorenson, who will continue as chairman and chief executive. Chopra, a resident of Palos Verdes Estates, will be based in ILC’s Hawthorne office. Douglas J. Lehrmann joined ILC last month as chief financial officer.
