Fluor Subsidiary Wins Contract for $31 Million
Fluor Corp. said Thursday that its Fluor Constructors Inc. subsidiary won a $31 million contract with the Union Sanitary District to expand a waste-water treatment plant in Union City, California.
Officials of the Irvine-based engineering and construction company said work on the project began last month and completion is slated for mid-1987.
The project to upgrade the northern California city’s seven-year-old plant also will include building a new odor-control system.
