The FBI said in Atlanta that a plane that crashed on a skydiving flight, killing all 17 people aboard, may have been sabotaged and agents were investigating links between the plane’s owner and a drug smuggler named Andrew Thornton who plunged to his death Sept. 11 while carrying cocaine. “We may be investigating 17 murders instead of 17 accident deaths,” Butts County Sheriff Billy Leverette said. The Cessna 208 Caravan crashed Sunday in Jenkinsburg, Ga.
