Lowe Buys Sprawling Housing Development

A wholly owned subsidiary of Los Angeles-based Lowe Enterprises Inc. has purchased Klahanie, one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest residential developments, covering 884 acres.
The master-planned community near Seattle is a 3,200-home, multi-phase project. It was acquired for $11 million by Lowe Enterprises Northwest from 437 Land Co. Inc., a real estate subsidiary of the Hartford Insurance Group.
