Stanley Dorst, William Hughes Head Business Properties Assn.

Stanley J. Dorst, president and chief executive officer of Grosvenor Development Co. in San Francisco, has been named chairman of the board, and William W. Hughes Jr. of Hughes Investments in Newport Beach, has been elected president of California Business Properties Assn.

Other officers include Malcolm R. Riley, who heads a Los Angeles firm bearing his name, vice president; William J. Kenney, of Donahue-Schriber in Irvine, secretary/treasurer, and Sacramento attorney JoAnne Bernhard, legal counsel.

Board members for 1985-’86 are Richard C. Giagi of Lucky Stores Inc. in Dublin, E. J. Caldecott of Carter Hawley Hale Stores in Los Angeles, Joseph T. Doino of Federated Department Stores in Sherman Oaks, Ranney Draper of Diversified Management Co. II in Costa Mesa, John J. Egan of Macy’s California in San Francisco, Eugene Geritz of Collins Rancho Del Oro in San Diego, and Gordon W. Jones of Safeway Stores Inc. in Oakland.
