Two unidentified gunmen in an Athens suburb shot and wounded a Libyan businessman believed to be an opponent of Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi. Youssef Akeila, 43, who was hit in the chest and leg outside his home, was in satisfactory condition after surgery, police said. Arab diplomats said that Akeila, a textile businessman in Greece for five years, had transferred all his money out of Libya and repeatedly refused requests to return. He is the sixth Libyan to be attacked in Athens since 1980.
