William K. Eastham, the former president of S.C. Johnson & Son and a past chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, has been elected to a newly-created seat on the board of directors of Environmental Diagnostics Inc., an Irvine-based maker of pollution test kits.
Eastham also was elected chairman of the company’s executive committee, the group that operates the company. Other members of the committee are James G. Watt, the former head of the Department of the Interior and the company’s board chairman, and Arden Kelton, the company’s president.
