State Proposal on Health Care

I am a parent of a mentally retarded young adult living in a residential facility, and I am appalled at the idea of my son and I not having the choice of what doctors he may or may not use.
What right has anyone to take these helpless people’s dignity away? They are not in a position to fight for their rights, but thank God we as parents can still fight for them.
We do not want the Deukmejian Administration to have the right to dictate these types of programs.
