CPG International, an Irvine-based holding company with investments in the art and graphics industry, has appointed Stiles Dixon, president and chief executive officer of Plan Hold Corporation, as its new executive vice president. Dixon, 64, will continue in his role at Plan Hold, a graphics supply and office furniture manufacturer also based in Irvine, while serving in the new CPG position.

CPG was formed in June when Chartpak/Pickett Industries in Massachusetts, M. Grumbacher in New York City and Plan Hold were acquired from the Times Mirror Company. Each company operates autonomously while sharing knowledge and expertise to create stronger channels of distribution and marketing impact for a combined total of nearly $75 million in product sales.
