DRESDEN OFF CONCERT SERIES
The Dresden Philharmonic, scheduled to perform on Saturday as part of the Orange County Philharmonic 1985-86 concert series, has canceled its entire American tour. No reason was given.
In its place, the Los Angeles Philharmonic has been scheduled to perform on Jan. 25, 1986, in an all-Sibelius concert to be conducted by Paavo Berglund and to feature violinist Joseph Swensen.

The canceled Dresden Philharmonic concert on the Orange County Philharmonic Society series was originally scheduled for Sunday, not Saturday as The Times reported. The Los Angeles Philharmonic, under the direction of Andre Previn, will perform as scheduled at 8 p.m. on Saturday in Santa Ana High School auditorium, 520 W. Walnut St., as part of the Philharmonic series.
