The stores will be sold to a corporation headed by James Berlin, group vice president of administration for the Goodrich tire group. Terms were not disclosed, but it is expected that at least 110 of the 160 stores known as Tire Centers will come under the new ownership by the end of 1985. B. F. Goodrich & Co. said it will continue to offer remaining stores to employees for purchase.
