Bay Bridge-Tunnel Rail Hit by Shellfishing Boat

PORTSMOUTH, Va. —
A 90-foot clam boat with a crew of five slammed into a low trestle of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel Monday, bending about 30 feet of the bridge guardrail. Traffic on the span was stopped for nearly two hours, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
