A 305,000-square-foot addition to the JC Penney distribution center in Buena Park is expected to be completed at the end of the year, with operations scheduled to begin in March.
The concrete tilt-up project was designed by Millard Archuleta Associates, Los Angeles, and is located adjacent to a five-story regional headquarters at Valley View and Orangethorpe avenues.
Industry observers estimate the cost of the project to be in the $8-million range. Penney declined to divulge a cost estimate on the expansion.
