A16-year-old motorcyclist killed in an accident Saturday has been identified by police as Gerald Russell of Canoga Park.
Michelle Marino, 18, of Northridge, a passenger on the back of the motorcycle when it collided with a car, was listed in serious condition Sunday at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Sgt. Ken Staggs of the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The accident occurred about 2 a.m. when Russell was turning left onto Devonshire Street from a private driveway in Northridge, police said. The driver of the car, Ronald Pinkunka, 48, of Canoga Park was not cited, Staggs said.
Both Russell and Marino were taken to the Northridge hospital. Russell died about six hours later, Staggs said.
