Apprehension of Terrorists
In response to your editorial, “A Moment to Savor,” I say “bravo!” For too long, terrorism and other such acts leveled against the United States have been met with little or no retaliation. In turn, one injustice upon another has been tossed in the face of American citizenry.
Tehran, Beirut Airport, a small El Salvador cafe, the list goes on and on. Will it ever stop? Never, unless each act is met with a swift and strong response such as the capture of the four pirates of the Achille Lauro.
Only actions such as this will have an impact on future proposed crimes by terrorists against the U.S.A. Only actions such as this will allow America to once again stand proud.
As a result, we might finally see an end to violent crimes against us with no worry of retribution. Wouldn’t that be a moment to savor?
