Countywide : 3 Are Honored for Humanitarian Work
Three people were honored Wednesday night for their work in the community at the ninth annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner sponsored by the Orange County chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
Honored were:
- Tom Nielsen, Irvine Co. president, for his work with the United Way, the Orange County Performing Arts Center and the Boys Club of Orange County.
- Stan Pawlowski, chairman of the board of El Camino Bank, for his support of the Anaheim Big Brother and Big Sister program and Anaheim Memorial Hospital.
- Dr. Carl Pearlman, a Santa Ana urologist, for his work in the expansion of St. Joseph Hospital in Orange.
The awards dinner was held at the Irvine Hilton and Towers.
