University of Oklahoma freshman forward Leonard Flowers was suspended “indefinitely” from the basketball team for not attending classes, Coach Billy Tubbs said.

“The bottom line is that Leonard has not been going to class,” Tubbs said. “He hasn’t been suspended by the university as far as I know, but he hasn’t been going to class, so we’ve suspended him indefinitely from the basketball team,” Tubbs said.

“Whether people believe it or not, our players have got to go to class. That’s just a must, and we do all we can as far as guiding them. But there’s one thing we can’t do, and that’s go to class for them.”
