Regarding Harold Wilson Sharp’s letter (Book Review, Sept. 29) saying that Ernest Thompson Seton had visions of a national club for boys but “found no backing in America”:

Seton did start such a club, the Woodcraft Rangers, still listed in the L.A. phone book. I was a member in the 1930s at Ivanhoe School and attended their summer camp at Lake Arrowhead.
