Carlsbad Site Bought for Shopping Center

Poinsettia Associates has purchased an 18.5-acre site at the southwest corner of Poinsettia Lane and Interstate 5 in Carlsbad from Poinsettia Investment Inc. for $8,667,667 and plans to develop the 138,000-square-foot, $17.5-million Poinsettia Shopping Center, to open in early 1987.

Poinsettia Associates was represented by brokers from Iliff, Thorn & Co. and John Burnham & Co. while Bruce Johnson Associates represented the seller. Illif, Thorn will be leasing agent for the new center.
