Suicide Bomber’s Car Blown Up

Military sources and Israel Radio said Israeli-backed militiamen opened fire on a suicide car bomber in the southern Lebanese village of Arnoun today, blowing up the car and killing the driver.
Israeli military sources said they had no reports of other casualties. They estimated that the car, which came within six miles of the Israeli border, was carrying at least 220 pounds of explosives.
