Jerome Warner of Tehachapi was recently fined $1,540 on seven counts of making false statements to illegally obtain Wyoming resident hunting licenses.
Game wardens in Cheyenne, Wyo., after a routine computer check, charged Warner with obtaining seven resident hunting licenses over a three-year period for deer, antelope and elk.
He pleaded guilty and was fined $770 to the Wyoming game and Fish Department, the difference between the cost of the resident licenses he received and the nonresident license fees he should have paid.
