‘Joan Kroc Should Stay in the Kitchen’

Come on Cal, if you had your way, Joan Kroc as well as every other female in this country would be in the kitchen, barefoot, making dinner for their hubbies. And, the Constitution and Bill of Rights would be revised with the Seal of Approval from the Moral Majority!

As a former head marionette for Jerry Falwell, I realize you believe that Armageddon is just around the corner, that secular humanism is akin to communism and that “major decisions” should be left to the “experts.”

I, for one, applaud and truly admire Joan Kroc’s commitment and courage, not only to making this world a better and safer place, but also for encouraging individuals to take part in crucial issues facing the world and helping to promote and instill the belief that each individual can make an effort and contribution that will count.
