Four Executives Will Receive Beaver Awards

Four construction industry executives with a total of 130 years service in the field will be presented with Golden Beaver Awards on Jan. 16 at the Beavers’ 31st annual awards dinner at the Century Plaza Hotel.

Richard H. Roberts of Granite Construction Co., Watsonville, Calif., will receive the Management Award; Frank E. Dalton, chief engineer for the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago, the Engineering Award; Chris F. Woods of Al Johnson Construction Co., Minneapolis, the Supervision Award, and Paul P. Burke, Ingersoll-Rand Co., San Leandro, the Service-Supply Award.

Formed in 1955 and including more than 800 members from 325 companies, the Beavers is an organization of heavy engineering contractors, banks, service firms, equipment suppliers and others.
