We didn’t think it was possible, but The Times, after having published dowdy, inadequate Home and West magazines for so many years, has finally put together a decent Sunday magazine. If the new magazine doesn’t succeed, then something must be terribly wrong with Southern California’s economy, readers and most important newspaper. If the first two issues represent the standards that will be followed, please let us thank you for helping make our Sunday mornings from now on more enjoyable.
