Dyan Cannon takes on a true-life role in “Jenny’s War,” a two-part, four-hour Operation Prime Time drama starting Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Channel 13. Cannon plays Jenny Baines, an American woman whose valiant search for her son, a missing RAF pilot, leads to her being trapped as a prisoner in a German war camp.

Elke Sommer, Robert Hardy, Christopher Cazenove and Hartmut Becker are others in the cast. Part one repeats Saturday at 8 p.m., with the conclusion airing next week.
