Street by White House Closed for Bomb Search

WASHINGTON —
Police sealed off two blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House on Tuesday to permit explosives experts to check the contents of a truck that aroused the suspicions of Secret Service guards.
Traffic was resumed after experts and a bomb-sniffing dog checked the truck, which was on a delivery run, and it was allowed to enter the White House grounds.
