Archive Signs Contracts Worth $10.9 Million

Archive Corp., a Costa Mesa manufacturer of magnetic tape drives, has signed contracts totaling $10.9 million with six companies that will use its drives in their computer products, the company said Wednesday.
Shipments already have started on the contracts, which were signed during fiscal 1985, ended Sept. 30.
Contracts were signed with Arete Systems Corp. for $3 million, Fortune Systems Corp. for $1.2 million, Gulfstream Micro Systems for $2.5 million, Hytech Solutions for $1 million, Lintec Inc. for $1.3 million and Plexus Computers Inc. for $1.9 million.
