United Press International

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said Wednesday that he has urged President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev to discuss the Middle East during next week's summit meeting in Geneva and to agree to an international peace conference on the troubled region.

In a policy speech to the opening session of a new Egyptian Parliament, Mubarak also asserted that the Palestine Liberation Organization does not encourage terrorism.
