HANG ‘EM HIGH

If you tune in tonight to “Hostage Flight” (at 9 on NBC), a movie about hijacked plane passengers who overcome their captors and conduct a kangaroo court in mid-air, you’ll see a shoot-out at 30,000 feet. That’s the domestic ending. You’ll miss the fun conclusion that the rest of the world gets to see.

For foreign folks, Shooting Star Productions has three of the hijackers swinging in the aisles, and we don’t mean doing the Lindy.

Explained producer Robert Sertner: “We agreed with NBC that because of the current political climate in the U.S., it would be poor taste to inflame the public with a lynching.”
