Polish dissidents said they have formed an underground political “Party of Free Polish Democracy” to pick up where the outlawed Solidarity union movement left off. Dissident sources said the clandestine party was announced five days ago in Krakow at the tomb of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski, a national hero, during a ceremony marking the regaining of Polish independence in 1918. It was signed, in pseudonyms, by members of a founding committee.
