Five West Germans who were on a commercial plane hijacked Nov. 10 into rebel-held territory in Uganda surfaced last week free and unhurt in neighboring Rwanda, a West German Foreign Ministry spokesman said in Bonn. He said the five--a doctor and his wife, two nurses and a businessman--traveled by bus from Kasese, in a guerrilla-controlled section of Uganda, to Kigali, Rwanda. Rebels denied involvement in the hijacking.
