Papuans Flee Volcano

PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea —
About 360 villagers were evacuated today as lava flowed down the slopes of Mt. Ulawan volcano in Papua New Guinea. The volcano has been erupting continuously for the last three days, and officials said the lava flow was moving toward hamlets on the eastern side of the volcano, on West New Britain Island.
