Lomita : Road Widening Approved
The City Council unanimously approved a plan to widen Lomita Boulevard to provide a left-turn lane between Crenshaw Boulevard and Lucille Avenue.
Construction to widen the street about four feet is expected to begin in July, officials said. The plan also will eliminate parking on the south side of Lomita Boulevard. Parking on the north side of the street will still be permitted.
